On our recent jaunt to the heavily tourist ridden yet still incredibly beautiful city of Prague we took a train south to the Central Bohemian town of Kutna Hora. Inspired by the Czech film-maker, Jan Svankmajer, we were hell bent on visiting the Bone Chapel we've been drooling over while watching his amazingly odd short The Ossuary. This tiny little unassuming chapel in a typical Czech suburb is beautifully adorned with over 40,000 skeletons, mostly from people who died from the black plague. Here we go....

wow! that brings back memories of long uncertain bus journeys followed by astonishment when we eventually found it. It's a truly incredible place.
