American Dream Machine
finally doing something worthwhile with my photo's from my American adventure, working title American Dream Machine. Just packing me bags for an extended trip to Notts. I'm gonna try some Risograph printing when I'm there. Schooled by me old friend mr. bevan. Super excited! I'll pop the results on here soon....if they're any good.
Also playing bass guitar for Breathe Out on monday night at Spanky Van Dykes. Again excited!

A Racing Heart Is The Sweetest Pain
Its been all quiet on the Shanty gig front for a few weeks now. We made a unanimous decision to take a wee brake to concentrate on rehearsing some new material in preparation for our recording session that's been booked for the end of Feb. Apparently Bohemian Rhapsody and Do They Know Its Christmas were recorded at the same studio. And Take That's most recent album. What the hells going on I have no idea?!
No night was complete without a quick stop off at Ali's burger joint. He fell asleep opposite me while I tucked into my Lamb Burger.

Sinking the Boat Show
oh what a night we had. the Boat Show asked our City Shanty Band to make an appearance at their weird party. Naturally, being the corporate whores that we is, we agreed. Look say what you like but it'll pay for 500 7" vinyl's. Besides singing "Drunken Banker" to hundreds of lecherous drunken bankers was actually one of the proudest moments of my life. aaaarrrrgghhh!

Wretched Bliss
You may think opera is shit but dont let that very reasonable opinion prevent you from seeing Stephen Crowe's (pictured right, alongside his brother Alfred Molina) latest work 'Wretched Bliss'.Its wonderfully bizarre and hideously entertaining. Finest spazzy sax solo's I ever did hear.
